Whatever your goals are, these quick links to some of my favorite tools and calculators can help you dial in a diet, calculate macros, or help determine the data you need to to add precision to your training plans.
This website is loaded with some cool calculators and information regarding the popular ketosis diet. When you increase your fat and protein intake and practically eliminate your net carb intake, the liver produces ketones for fuel. This diet isn't for everyone, as with any diet everyone should consult with their physician and do their own research. The calculator on this page will help you determine your basic metabolic rate (amount of calories you're burning daily). It will also let you play around with some goal setting and and suggest a macro plan accordingly. Very cool stuff.
MAX. HEART RATE TABLE
As a fitness professional I know the importance of knowing my Resting Heart Rate, my Maximum Heart Rate and the various targets I want to hit for my different cardio zones. What zone you're training in determines the chemical reactions in the body. This is useful information you and your trainer need to design the most effective workouts for your goals. The American Heart Association has some great tables for getting an idea of where you fall plus tons of good information on heart and cardiovascular health.

Bodybuilding.com has so many articles and tools and I recommend the site for anyone wanting to add quality education to their training and meal planning. Oftentimes, for many different reasons, we can't attempt our max. bench press or squat. This calculator will help you determine your max. without having to max. Tracking data like this helps you see where you are improving in your fitness goals. Very useful.
